PLACING AN ORDER
You can choose and order products by clicking on the desired products. These are then collected together in a virtual basket of goods. At the end of your shopping you will get a compilation of the products and the total cost inclusive V.A.T. Before dispatching the order, you are enabled to check the order and the correctness of its content, in particular concerning the price and the quantity, and, if necessary, to correct it.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Acceptance of your offer will occur when we email you confirming your order and we provide you with the first update on the making of your shoes. We reserves the right to refuse an order and to notify you in the shortest time possible.
To make shopping more pleasant, we offer multiple payment options to choose from:
Cash on Delivery
To place an order and pay for it using cash on delivery, please select the ‘Cash on Delivery’ option on the payment page. This option is only available in Romania.
You can make you online card payment with your personal card or a business card in complete safety. Accepted cards are those issued by Visa / Visa Electron, MasterCard / Maestro. No additional commissions are charged for transactions. Card data processing is done exclusively on PlatiOnline servers. The security of your information is guaranteed by the fact that PlatiOnline does not store confidential data of your card, but sends them encrypted on a secure connection to the processing bank. This way your information is completely safe.
Regardless of the currency you have in your account, transactions are made in RON, at your bank’s exchange rate. For card payment, the transaction will appear on your bank statement under the name Great Escapes SRL.

After you complete the money transfer, please do remember to submit your transaction details to [email protected] Without your transaction details provided, your payment confirmation may be delayed or failed. As soon as your payment reaches us we will start processing your order. If we do not receive the payment in 5 days, the order will be cancelled.
Possible transfer costs, as well as bank charges shall be borne by the customer. Refunds from returns will be charged-back to the bank account which the original order was paid from.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. No cancellation fees will apply. Regarding custom-made products, the order can be cancelled only before it enters the production process.
Because we work only based on orders and all our products are handmade by Bianca and a few trusty craftsmen, the production time is higher. Each stage is carried out with care, attention to detail and rigorous quality controls, so the production time of an item may vary depending on the complexity of the design.
Our products are shipped anywhere in the world.
There is no cost of delivery for orders shipped in Romania (free delivery) for locations covered by the courier company. Any expenses with exterior kilometers will be borne by the client. Delivery will be made by courier and can take up to 1-2 working days.
For international shipping, delivery charges differ depending on the chosen country – the fee will be shown when placing an order and after filling in the address. Formalities and customs duties are borne by the client. Delivery will be made by EMS Posta Romana and can take between 2-14 working days, depending on your location.
We make every effort to deliver your order according to the estimated delivery times. The estimated delivery time is mentioned in the description of each product. In rare cases the delivery might be subject to influences beyond our control, such as fabric availability or natural disasters. In those cases delivery might take slightly longer.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
According to OU 34/2014, costumers have the right to return ordered products within 14 days following delivery.
*Because custom and personalized products are made just for you, they are not returnable. Also, products collected from our premises are not considered remote trading and therefore can not be returned.
RETURNS: In order to provide a refund or exchange the following are required:
You must contact us within the first 14 days after receiving the order.
Products can be returned only if they are in their original state, they show no sign of use or flaws and are accompanied by the original packaging and all documents received. We advise you to try on the shoes only on carpet in order to avoid the appearance of marks on the sole.
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the above has not been adhered to.
Expenses regarding product returns shall be borne by the client. If the received product is damaged, defective or is different from the ordered product, the return fees will be borne entirely by us. We only accept returned products sent through courier companies whose shipping fees have been paid by the sender (client).
REFUNDS: Once the returned package reaches us, we agree to transfer the value of the products within 5 business days. The cost of transport is not refundable.
In regard to orders payed by credit card, the issuing bank will unlock the locked amount in the client’s account within 1-30 days, depending on its policy.
Our company does not assume any responsibility for the handling and transportation of returned products, nor accepts returned products that have flaws resulting from these causes.
EXCHANGES: You can change the product with another color, size or model; please contact us and specify the order number, your name and the product you want to change. Any product can be exchanged depending on stock availability. If the desired model is no longer in stock, you can choose another by paying or being refunded the price difference, depending on the case.
We provide the guarantee of traded products under provisions of Law 449/2003 and OG34/2014. Proof of purchase is required in order to exercise the warranty.
While we make every effort to create only best quality products, in very rare cases it happens that a defective product passes the rigorous quality control. If that happens to you please contact us as soon as possible. Keep in mind that the warranty covers defects of workmanship and materials, but does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, normal wear or the natural breakdown of colors and material through time, exposure or extensive use.
The arrangement to ensure the guarantee is reparation or replacement, if reparation is not possible. Guarantee is provided after the declaration of deficiency and after the delivery of the product to us. The term to repair or replace the defective product shall be up to 30 days from the delivery date of the product.
All content found on our website is owned by Bianca Georgescu and is protected by Romanian and international copyright laws. Such content includes, but is not limited to, text, images, logos, patterns, software code, audio and video. No content material may be used, in any way, without our written permission. As a result of browsing the website, where content is downloaded, printed or viewed, such content is permissible for private, non-commercial use for the sole purpose of evaluating goods, making and purchase of goods, or promoting the sale of goods to others.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of our website contents, customers, visitors, and any other person or persons are advised that occasionally errors do occur, however, no errors are ever made deliberately or intentionally. We reserve the right to change any advertised price before accepting an order. All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be offered an alternative or given a refund for the unavailable product.
Actual colors may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently. We try to edit our photos to show the samples as life-like as possible, but please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor. We cannot guarantee that the color you see accurately portrays the true color of the product.
