Who is Bianca Georgescu?
I am a young Romanian designer who loves handcraft in general. I molded on the footwear because I learned a special passion for this segment, being a challenge to combine laws of physics with artistic ideas in a special and unique object.

Your Style. Your Inspirations. Why Leather. Your favorite print. Which skills would you like to improve?
I think my style is defined by the combination of unconventional creative techniques and themes with materials less common in order to create a unique and unprecedented product. I think authenticity, personality and uniqueness might be some of the features my style.

I have a passion for researching and experimentation with new material and new situations/ideas in which you can place materials and items to be unusual. I do not have a passion for working with leather, but realistically speaking, is the most suitable material in the achievement of the footwear from quality point of view.

Working with the laser is my favorite stage, fascinates me and I think that it offers endless possibilities, therefore all laser engravings and cuts are my favorites.

Everything is constantly improving; along with getting experience and gathering feedback from clients, my products are rethought and redesigned to meet all the requirements.

How should be an ideal casual bag?
I think an ideal casual bag is capacious with enough compartments to be easily organized and with ideal proportions for the person wearing it.

How should be a pair of casual ideal footwear?
Firstly, it should be extremely comfortable. Appearance is also very important; shoes should not be the only object that protects us against adverse weather conditions, but a fashion accessory, which influence our attitude and mood.

Who should wear your shoes / bags / your accessories?
Anyone can wear my products, but I think my shoes are created especially for lovers of the beautiful, for those who prefer products with a personality and a story, shoes, and accessories that attract the admiration by the uniqueness of the visual. Customers represented by enthusiasts of fashion and collectors of art, who recognize and admit the artistic value of our products.

What is the workshop for you. Who and where you are looking for inspiration?
I’ve learned to draw inspiration from anything: from a landscape, an atmosphere, a texture, a story, etc. It all depends on the direction in which you choose to develop that source of inspiration.The studio represents a rather important step in my career, being the moment in which I became 100% Independent regarding the manufacture of my products. Even if the studio is currently in a temporary rental, it has represented a key moment in the development of my business, by considering for the next year the opening of my own studio and even a small showroom in Bucharest.

Being the place where I spend most of my time, the studio – even if it is small and cold, is a magic space where my ideas come true. I am happy to reach all the equipment and materials needed to put my ideas into practice, along with experts in the field from which I learn constantly.
